  • I've been a fan of Community Roots for a few years, I make sure to pop-in whenever I am in the area. They have gift certificates - and I've purchased these on a few occasions to give to family and friends who are SERIOUS book lovers. As the previous poster commented, it is a bit cramped but well worth the time to keep looking. The owners are friendly and helpful and can almost always locate a book for you if they have it. They have art from local artists and there's always something interesting in the front window. Prices range from inexpensive to downright cheap - especially if they are having a sale! Great place to look for gifts and they also sell gently used DVDs, CDs and video games. If you want for a box-store experience, this is not the place for you. If you have a love of books (like, a SERIOUS love of books), this is a one of a kind shop that is worth the visit.
