I went here on a Friday lunch buffet and was pleasantly surprised. I hadn't eaten Indian food in a while and was missing it for some time. I used to live in Dallas where there is a huge Indian population and 93% of my coworkers were Indian so I have an idea of what they think is good food since we often ate together for lunch and sometimes dinner. I am not an expert.
I think the Goat Masala and Chicken Curry were delicious. 4.0 stars. The meat was very fresh, soft and moist. You can tell this was slow cooked. These were my 2 favorite dishes there. And the fresh garlic naan that was served by the waitstaff was hot and fresh baked. It was good.
The chicken tikka masala was good too but I only gave it 3.5 stars. The baked fish was okay.
Now for the vegetable dishes, I couldn't eat them. I've had much better. Much much better. I gave the veggie dishes here 1.0-1.5 stars. Just on the low end of low end. If you are primarily searching for vegetarian dishes, this is not the place as you will be disappointed.
If you enjoy the 2 meat dishes I noted above, then you will like this place. It may not be the best of the best, but for the $8.99 price they are offering, its a great deal. I've had better but those were costly places in Dallas.
The nice thing is that you get the Mango smoothie and Hot Chai Tea with milk included in the buffet. What a deal for $8.99. I found the smoothie to be very good and the hot chai tea to be spicy (how Indians like it, not like Starbucks Chai Tea :)).
I definitely will be coming back here again. Service was good. And the Indian rice pudding was yummy! Loved it.
Update 05/09/2018: The vegetarian dishes were way better today. 3.0-3.5 stars. Must be a different chef today. :) However also today the goat masala and chicken curry were not as good, only 3.0-3.5 stars. I guess it really depends on the day you come.
