| - This is my third time here and I've decided to give a review because I finally think I have an opinion of the place.
First, I originally came here looking for something like Spa World in Virginia where I can from. It is not Spa World, there is no Bade Pool with jets but there are tubs and saunas. The first time, I left disappointed comparing it to Spa World.
The second time, I tried to enjoy it for what it was, hot tub, cold tub, steam sauna, and dry sauna. I liked it better the second time but not 100%. I tried to get a scrub but was told they were done for the night, it was around 8pm. Also, I don't like that people are wearing swim suits, what is the point of wearing a swimsuit to a Korean spa?
The third time, today, I really enjoyed myself. I came earlier and with a plan. I booked a scrub and massage with enough time to soak for an hour. I came ready to use a Groupon but was informed that if I got the special, entry was included. Yes! I then put my stuff away, got cleaned up and started soaking. I went from hot tub, herbal steam sauna, regular steam sauna, dry sauna, and back to hot tub with breaks for a cold shower or cold tub in between. Very relaxing, great. I cared less about the swimsuits this time.
The scrub and massage, I had Candy and she was wonderful. I hadn't been scrubbed since I left VA, that was about a year ago. The massage was relaxing just after getting a hard scrub and my face/body felt reborn. YES! This I will come back for.
Next, I went to the diner upstairs. I always get ginger tea, no need to change that now and was happy they had the tea. I also decided to try the ramen and it was delicious. The only issue I had was that I was sat at a table that had old towels in the seat and trash on the floor. Other than that, I was fine with my dining experience.
Next, more relaxing and a trip to the upstairs saunas.
Tips:
1. Give yourself enough time to soak, get a massage, get a snack and do it all over again.
2. The pool area is separated by gender, nudity is perfectly fine in the separate area. They give you an outfit for the coed areas upstairs.
2. If you have body issues, leave them (and your swimsuit) at the door. No one cares, that is not what the "jimjilbang' experience is about. Every where else in Vegas cares, not here, set yourself free.
3. Once again, give yourself enough time to relax...I repeat.
