Trader Joe's is a stop on the tour of Cleveland my mom and I make each summer. I will agree that the store is sort of small and crowded, just like the parking lot! Though this was the least crowded I have seen in the past few years.
They seem to focus on a lot of pre-packaged stuff like snacks which I try to avoid in general, but there are some things I would get if closer. We are getting our first TJs now in the Upstate NY area (one just opened in Rochester and we are getting one in the Buffalo suburbs later this year), but I appreciate the fresh items and high quality. I think I am more worried about finding something I like and then not being able to get it again because I am 3 hours away!
We mainly had a list from a new friend of my mom to get her some of her favorites, but we browsed everything and picked up a couple items. My mom let me pick up a 6 pack of the Kennebunkport Blueberry Wheat beer for my loyal cart pushing and it was very good. All the staff members were very friendly and stopped to asked if we needed help and were trying to keep the store organized and stocked.
