  • My husband I purchased a condo in downtown Scottsdale. We started with a clean slate. We wanted to have a contemporary feel, but neither of us have an eye for this type of thing. We did some research and fortunately found Thingz. We could not have made a better decision with the store and our designer, Michelle. During our first meeting, Michelle listened to our overall objective, what we did and didn't want, and our budget. We explained we needed furniture, art, lighting (you name it) for the entire space. From that first discussion on, we knew we were in excellent hands. The condo consists of a kitchen, living/dining area, two bedrooms, and office. Michelle made sure we prioritized our purchases so everything arrived at the exact time we wanted to move into our new home. Michelle also helped us choose the stacked stone for our accent wall, paint colors, and rugs to compliment our purchases. Michelle was extremely patient throughout the entire process. Many times I would call her and start the conversation with, "I've been thinking, and I'm not sure about..." Each time (and there were many), Michelle would listen to my concerns, and then either suggest another alternative or show me why our original choice will work best in the space. She was amazing at helping me visualize our overall goal. The end result: Our new home is striking, welcoming, and beautiful. Not only did Michelle exceed our expectations with the finished product, but she exceeded our wildest dreams. We love our home, and when our next project presents itself, we will immediately turn to Michelle and Thingz.
