| - I'm a repeat customer. A really pleased one.
I use Tony Williams Car Service for rides between my home office and the Pittsburgh airport when I travel for work-related reasons--about half a dozen round-trip transfers between October 2014 and now, 3 of which were this month.
Tony and Tim have been the ones to take my calls and to make my reservations, and they've always been exceptionally efficient and friendly and have never not been able to accommodate my date/time requests. Best of all, for each trip I've been able to negotiate what I feel is a fair flat rate (exclusive of about a 20% tip) for all involved. This car service is professional, sophisticated, and 100% reliable, and I really am all-around so pleased with it.
The drivers deserve a paragraph. I've been driven by Brett, Rich, Tim, Ricardo, and Troy. All really good, though I've developed a soft spot for Tim and Troy because those two have driven me more than once. There's about 40 minutes between my home and the airport, which is a big chunk of time for 1:1 chat. All the drivers are skilled in the art of conversation, for sure. There have been times when I've flown back in the evening from a whirlwind 1-day meeting, exhausted, and yet found myself enjoying the conversation on the ride home.
Let's see, what else? The vehicles. I've experienced a few different 4-door sedans, all Cadillacs. Consistently clean, no weird smells (always a relief to me), considerate temperature control.
I like the quick and easy credit card payment via the driver's smartphone as well as the email receipt. A reservation email confirmation would be great, so perhaps that's something that the company will consider implementing.
Totally recommend Tony Williams Car Service for airport rides and would also jump at the opportunity to utilize this company for rides to and/or from a special event downtown, for example.
