  • We go to Menards regularly -- they have everything! The staff is hit or miss, but if you hunt around you can find someone who is helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. We wanted some advice on a custom project and we wandered into the paint section of the store late on a Thursday night and found a patient and knowledgeable clerk that listened to our description, looked at our very basic drawing, and then recommended a specific product for every component AND walked us around the whole store to help us find everything. He also gave us some tips on putting it together. Now that's great service! The prices are competitive and the store is well-organized and clean. Checkout is always very fast, never had to wait more than 5 minutes. Best place to go for big and small projects alike.
