  • We do not have a place like this anywhere in Phoenix, and let me tell you, the place is outstanding.The employees were very nice, answered all of my questions and make good suggestions. Similarly to cold stone, you order the size cup you want, then pick a flavor of shaved ice with a free topping and free sauce. I ordered the taro shaved ice with sweet black sesame sauce and almond pudding topping. The guy suggested I get something crunchy as a topping too to balance it out, but I was too overwhelmed with new & exciting flavors I had never heard of or tasted. The shaved ice is soft and fluffy. I think I was expecting it to be more like ice chips- tough & crunchy. The texture reminded me almost of cotton candy- soft and fluffy, but condenses as soon as the wetness of your mouth hits it. It was sweet, but not overly sweet and the flavors had richness to them. Everything was fresh and completely delicious. The interior is modern and clean. Hooray for something new and delicious. I work less than 1/2 mile from here and know I will spend way too much money in this place.
