| - Oh man.
I love All you Can Eat Sushi, and this place takes the cake.
Unfortunately, I do believe it was better 2-3 years ago. However, the new specialty rolls are amazing (I especially love Harry Potter, mmmm garlic).
I went there every week, a few times, without fail, my freshman year at UNLV. My friends and I all loved it. I saw it on the way home one day, tried it, loved it, invited my friends the next time. I live kind of far, but still tell others about Yama and try to take visitors whenever possible.
This place is extremely cheap for All You Can Eat. The service is excellent. It's somewhat small, but there's always room. I love their gyoza. Their garlic tuna is phenomenal. Halibut is excellent. Snow in Vegas, Yama Crunch, etc etc. ALL of them are great.
I used to know all of the sushi chefs by name, but they've changed around now. Paul and Howard were the best. One of them (Bruce, I think) moved to Momo Sushi on Stephanie. They would make me stuff that wasn't even on the menu. I asked them to make me a Family Roll from Momo. They made it better than Momo did with me just telling them what it consisted of! Japanese Lasagne, they tried and it wasn't the same as Osaka, but tasty nonetheless.
My absolute favorite All You Can Eat place. Beats Sushi on Trop - definitely. Plus...ALL YOU CAN EAT DESSERT! Mochi AND green tea ice cream? Soda in the can?! Sushi on Trop gives you a bite of ice cream and that's it!
These people are not stingy. I feel like I'm robbing them, actually.
Oh, also...
I have never seen a place clean as much as them. They are very clean. Very fresh fish. Excellent all around.
