I have lived in this area for many years and have driven by this place countless times but never checked it out. I always thought, how good can it really be it's in a strip mall, but looks can be deceiving. From the moment we entered we were treated graciously by the wait staff and welcomed personally by the manager. Service was impeccable and unbelievably friendly but not overbearing. The food was solid and not overly complicated but in a good way. I selected the sea scallops over grits and brussels sprouts topped with cabbage. The scallops were generously sized, not gritty and were cooked to perfection. The mix of sweet, salty and bitter worked quite well together and I highly recommend it. My wife had the salmon and it was quite good and again a solid dish and well cooked. It had a delicious berry glaze and smoky pecan taste throughout. Dinner completed with a berry bondino which was excellent. Not too sweet and was a great conclusion to the meal. Overall highly recommended and I hope to visit again.
