| - Modern, spacious, clean, and right on Market Square in Pittsburgh. I'm not sure if anything else could make for a great hotel stay.
The staff at the front desk is friendly and helpful. There was 1 restaurant on property Revel & Roost when I visited with one more on the way. For breakfast, be sure to visit the second level of the restaurant.
For the best view of Market Square and the taller buildings in downtown, try to get a corner room. At this property, the corner provides a magnificent view of the PPG building, Market Square, the HighMark building and more.
From this location you can take in a lot of what Pittsburgh has to offer and will be in walking distance of almost any attraction you'd want to visit in the downtown area: Point State Park, Fort Pitt Museum, ballparks, casino, etc.
On a side note, the modern elevators in the building are bipolar, sounding depressed when announcing the elevator is "going down" and a bit optimistic when the elevator is "going up." It's something to listen up for if you're looking for simple-minded entertainment.
Parking is available in the building and runs a hefty $30 a night.
The property is new and well located. After staying here this time around, Hilton Garden Inn has become a go-to property for any future stays in the 'burgh.
