  • Received a cooking class as a Christmas present from my sister who purchased it from Groupon. The class took place in the chef's home, Maggie. She was very welcoming and greeted all the participants with a warm and friendly handshake upon entering. Her home is very cozy. She has it set up classroom style for the first half of class where she explains what we'll be cooking that evening. Then we head into the kitchen and start cooking. Maggie weaves her way in and out of the kitchen, helping people with measurements, finding ingredients, taste testing and offering her tidbits of cooking advice. At the end of class, everyone sits down to a family style dinner and eats what we just cooked. It was a fabulous evening and I highly recommend these classes to everyone from the beginner to the advanced chef. I would love to attend more classes and plan on doing so! This would be a great idea for a unconventional bridal or baby shower or bachelorette party and even a fun date night for husband and wife!
