| - My wife and I stopped in on a Sunday for a few wings and a beer.
They didn't have Bud Light on draft so we had to get it in a bottle, no problem.
The wing flavor selection looked great, so I ordered the Thai and she got the poppyseed.
The server was stone-faced but efficient.
We sat in the outdoor patio, which we have done before, about a year ago. Then it was one of the nicest patios around. Now, it is dirty, infested with spiders, webs and ants. Everything, including the tables and chairs was covered in bird droppings.
There were dead leaves everywhere, presumably left over from last year, and the tables were very dirty. We saw one employee wiping down all the tables with one damp rag and no cleaning solution. The same dirty rag spreading the filth equally onto tall the tables.
The wings arrived and they were way underdone. Technically, they were cooked, but you expect a deep fried chicken wing to be crispy, These were not, they were very rubbery. I ate one and pitched the rest. The sauce was bland. it was rated as one of the most spicy on the heat scale on the menu but it was basically flavorless, badly covering the taste of the gamey chicken which on the menu says fresh, never frozen. these were definitely frozen, not good quality.
The server came and I told here the wings weren't good. She just said sorry, and brought us the check.
Too bad this place is going downhill. it used to be very good.
