  • This is a double edged review - Saw Beautiful: The Carole King Musical in Reynolds Hall - It was a "Beautiful" show and venue I don't think there is a bad seat in the house. Two weeks later we saw Megan Hilty in the Jazz Cabaret; Megan Hilty and Seth Rudetsky were outstanding, talented and funny. The environment and venue were outstanding however the chairs were extremely uncomfortable, hard wood which made what should have been a great experience an painful experience. Prior to going to the show we had already purchased tickets to see Acoustic Alchemy the following week, however based on our experience at the Megan Hilty concert we chose to forfeit the cost of those tickets because the seating was so bad. All that being said - if you are going for an event at Reynolds Hall - go have an amazing time. If you are going to an event at Jazz Cabaret, think twice and bring seat cushions (you will need them)
