| - I had the privilege of visiting SPEEDVEGAS on the family and friends opening days and it was an amazing experience.
Given the fact that their building is still a temporary setup until the permanent structure is complete, the entire system was structured and organized. Which is hard to pull off with ANY startup, especially on the first few days.
You are able to pick which car you would like to drive. Certain vehicles cost more per lap than others. I chose the orange Lamborghini Huracán. Because it was the most popular car that day, and the amount of people that chose it, I did have to wait a while. However, it did not seem long since I was watching my friends and others drive around the track!
You go through a driving school before you are allowed to drive. They explain the track to you and how driving these vehicles are different from the normal, everyday cars we drive. I'm not going to lie, I was SUPER nervous. But as soon as I got into the car, my assigned professional driver made me feel comfortable and relax. Every person driving is accompanied by a professional driver who shows you where the gear shift is, even how to buckle your seat belt, if you're as nervous as I was and just happened to forget how to do simple things. The driver also has a break on their side of the vehicle just in case you get a little carried away. Just knowing it was there was comforting. Kind of like when you take your driving test when you're 16 years old. Except a bit more exhilarating than parallel parking or getting onto the freeway for the first time.
All in all, if you are a lover of exotic cars, racing or all of the above, this is an experience you don't want to miss!
