I used to have a good impression of the ramen here but it seems like the quality has dropped since my visit a year ago and the telltale sign was that the soup base was off. I stopped by during lunch and had the Original Shio ($11), the lightest flavour made from seasoning the broth with a bit of salt. It felt like they diluted the bone stock while keeping the oil and salt, so the taste was bland but still heavy.
The staff were nice, the service was efficient, and the rest of the ramen was alright. But the broth really is the heart of the dish and Kinton was not delivering.
