rev:text	You know that feeling you get when you walk out of a barber shop and you just feel great about your hair and you start looking for more reflective surfaces to check yourself out? Well I have not felt like that in while until I found H.K. Hair Designs. I called to book an appointment and luckily for me I got a spot. Upon arriving I went through a few pages on yelp looking for a place in Richmond Hill/ Markham area that could do fades and potentially do them well. First Impressions: Shop was clean, spacious and bright. One of the barbers at the front greeted me and asked if I was Josh. HE REMEMBERED! MARCO: Great barber and he really knows his craft. He asked me what I wanted and I pointed to a poster above my head as to what type of fade I wanted. This poster was awesome, I said #21 please! Marco did not rush at all, he took his time and he really paid attention to details. So much so that he had to get all of my baby hairs. He was very informative and gave great suggestions. Halfway through the cut 3 other people came in looking for a fade and given some of my bad experiences with barbers I thought he would rush through the rest of the cut. ON TO THE NEXT ONE, right? However, I was pleasantly surprised as he was so focus on my cut, he allowed the other barber to take the clients. Overall, Marco is a pretty stand up guy and I am extremely pleased with the fade. Thanks Marco! Opportunities: One area that I would suggest for this place is to spend more time on the hair wash. I feel like there was a lack of effort in this area even though you are being charged for it. I did not get a full wash, it was just a quick rinse and was not rinsed off after the cut. I am not sure if this is all it entitles for the extra $4 but felt that this could be better serviced. Overall Impressions: Clean, friendly, attention to details and amazing skills. Definitely would recommend and definitely will come back.
