  • The worst, most unprofessional "service". I bought a Groupon for a two hour clean. Emailed them on October 1st to schedule my appointment for a home cleaning and mentioned I bought their Groupon promotion. They send me back a suspicious email saying it took so long to reply because my email was sent to their Spam folder. Okayyyy. Then, I receive another email to say they do not have any availability on the 14th or 15th of October (my requested dates). The email also says I have to CALL to schedule. I call on Monday October 3rd to schedule my appointment. The man on the phone sounds annoyed. I can tell he hates HIS OWN Groupon promotion and doesn't want to honor it. He starts in on a high pressure sales pitch to upgrade. When I decline, he says, "Well, here's how we do it. You bought two hours? We send two people and they work for an hour each. That's two hours!" I say, "Fair enough." We schedule my house cleaning appointment for Thursday, October 13th at 8AM. He gets my address and zip code and I even mention we live in DTLV. Here we are THE NIGHT BEFORE my scheduled house cleaning and I just received this craptacular text from them: "As we review your order, we noticed that you're in an area that we do not serve. Due to this, we must cancel your service. Please visit Groupon for a refund." Absolute b.s. The Groupon states "Valid only within 20 miles of zip code 89123" We are exactly 13 miles away. Our home is in 89104. Furthermore, why wouldn't they say this on October 3rd when we were on the phone to schedule the service. Oh, that's right. Because I didn't buy his upsell. Thanks for waiting until the night before my scheduled service to cancel for no reason other than being a completely dishonest, dishonorable sham. Don't offer promotions if you do not plan to honor them. Just don't. It's terrible business practice and is really bad service for any potential customers. Just awful. The worst part is the service was scheduled only to clean the kitchen floor and one bathroom the day before we are hosting a party. It would have been a very easy job for them and if they'd honored their appointment and done a semi-decent job, they would have received a much different review. Instead, they totally screwed with this new customer from the get-go. From the "spam email" stalling tactic to the "you must call to schedule" to the hard sell on the phone to the "we don't service your area" text THE NIGHT BEFORE scheduled service. It took them 10 days to figure that out? Or, the truth is they simply don't want to honor their own Groupon promotion without a huge upsell. Please do yourself a favor and hire a professional cleaning service. This is not it.
