| - Great staff, convenient, near Las Vegas Welcome Sign.
My husband and I got married here on New Year's Day. We made an appointment with them a few weeks before because we knew this would be a popular day to get married. The staff I spoke with over the phone was friendly, patient, and answered all my questions. I didn't have my credit info at the time so they just sent me a PayPal invoice to book our date.
On the day we were married, we arrived 45 minutes early for our time. The paperwork was easy and we waited only 10 minutes before our ceremony started. We had the "Let's elope" package and it was a very simple, right to the point ceremony. We wed inside the chapel, which was simple and like the pictures. The photographer prepped us and we only spoke to the minister a few minutes before the ceremony began. Although he may have done this millions of times, he seemed very genuine and sincere during the ceremony, which we really appreciate.
Afterwards, we took a lot of photos inside the chapel and outside. She was also nice enough to welcome our props for our wedding (see photo). She made the whole process easy and fun. After the photo session, we went to her office to view the photos. Although it may be a little pricey ($150 for a photo cd), it was worth it because she took very good pictures. Thank you so much!
And thank you, Little Church of the West! Next time we are in town, we will definitely say hi and recommend you to our family and friends!
By the way, this place is only a 2 minute walk on the sidewalk to the Las Vegas Welcome Sign. I walked there with my wedding dress and it was fine. It's definitely a great spot to get married in and conveniently located by Mandalay Bay and by an iconic site where Elvis got married and the Las Vegas Welcome Sign!
One more tip, if you don't have transportation, make sure to call a taxi or have the number handy because you may need to walk to Mandalay Bay to get one because you can't flag taxis down on the street. Another tip is to just get a taxi from the Las Vegas Welcome Sign.
]Thanks again!
