rev:text	We finally visited Cowabunga Bay, some good and some bad things. All in all I enjoyed this one better than Wet n wild bc it's a bit quieter, smaller and more relaxing. I would have given 4 stars but we had some service issues. We tried the VIP cabanas. I liked them bc they were private, spread out and had a private pool. You get pitchers of ice water all day, if you can find your cabana server. Our cabana server Maddie was very rough and struggled all day. I noticed some other cabanas had attentive servers who checked in on them frequently. Unfortunately it took 40 minutes and several attempts to ask the other servers before we could get our first order in. Then it was wrong and missing stuff. The food is BAD. I mean hospital, airplane food bad. I ordered a turkey club. Simple right? So so gross. Processed packaged meat with a slice of American cheese on the bottom, lettuce, tomato, cold chewy bacon and a hard slice of white cheese on top, served dry with no condiments. I asked for mayo and Maddie told me they were out but might have some later. Huh? Try to eat before you get there and then only eat snack stuff like ice cream or soft pretzels. Nothing else looked edible. We did enjoy the other cabana servers who were sweet and seemed happy to help. I think we just got unlucky. The girl in purple who escorted us to our cabana was amazing and even got us fresh ice water once when she walked by and noticed our empty pitchers. The bathroom by the VIP cabanas was disgusting and had broken paper towel holders, no toilet paper and no soap. Someone had vomited in a toilet and missed and it was left there all day. My kids loved the rides and the tubes and life vests are included. The music selection is really great. I know that's a funny thing to notice but I really enjoyed the playlist which went from beachy, mellow to party. I felt like there wasn't a lot of adult supervision and maybe some more experienced folks needed to be there checking that the park was running smoothly. I only saw 2 employees who looked older than 18. There's a lot of potential, I hope they fix some small stuff and make it better. We will most likely be back, but for now I've had enough fun and sun.
