  • Once again I had a pet emergency at 0044 this past Saturday morning. I had an 11 year old chihuahua that had congestive heart failure and was not doing very well that morning. I rushed him to the vet and they took my moosie to the triage area immediately. They did a quick assessment then asked me if I would like to have him on a pain drip. I asked what was going on and the staff in front immediately got a hold of the dr on duty and she met with me and my family in a private room. The dr (I forget her name at the moment) was extremely professional, kind, caring and honest. She gave me options about medical care for moose. I asked her for her honest opinion and she gave it to me....I unfortunately had to put my best friend of 11 years to sleep that morning. They gave me and my family the time we needed to say goodbye and were extremely compassionate. My oldest daughter was in California at the time so I had to call her on my cell phone while this all occurred. The dr talked to my daughter on speaker phone as if she was there in the room. I appreciated that more than she knows.....I would absolutely recommend this animal hospital to anyone who needs it....
