The owner contacted me after my review to apologize for my experience and offer to have the bikes looked over and refused to allow me to pay for the service. He had another employee, Terry, contact me to coordinate a time to bring the bikes in and have them serviced. Terry is simply awesome. He was also extremely apologetic for the service I didn't receive the first time and went above and beyond to make sure I was aware of any potential issues the biles may have had. When I picked the bikes up after they were serviced I worked with yet another awesome employee who was super helpful and all smiles.
After further conversations - it seems the guy with whom I had the first encounter is just lacking in consistently friendly customer service skills. A transplant from up north where curt behavior is just the norm is a bit hard to swallow for this southern girl. I'll definitely be back when I need quality bike repair, service and sales but I'll be calling to make sure Mr. Yankee is off that day.
