| - Overall, a decent donut shop with a friendly staff.
Below is a breakdown of all the donuts I tried...
Strawberry Split: vegan! The fresh strawberries are a great contrast to the cream & fried donut. I wish the cream wasn't made from soy but I guess you can't be worried about GMOs at a donut shop lol
Blueberry with Meyer lemon icing: reminds me of a blueberry muffin topped with lemon frosting. Not as good as the blueberry donuts from M&M Donuts in Orange County but still good.
Red velvet: I would have personally liked it a little softer, but overall, I can't complain. Not bad, but not anything that I'd rave about.
Salted caramel: just really HUGE, but average tasting
Oreo birthday cake: For your sweet tooth, this donut tastes just like the name. More like dessert than a breakfast food, but I guess that's true of most of these donuts. Props on creativity!
Crème brûlée: delicious & vegan! I just wish the hard caramel on top was a little thinner because it can overpower the yummy donut with creme filling a bit.
Strawberry big poppa tart: A pop tart inside a donut made to look like a huge pop tart. Probably the most unique donut here. I'm not a huge fan of pop tarts but this pop tart hits the spot!
If you want to be able to choose from all of their options, I suggest coming before 10am. I came at 10:30am & they had already run out of a couple things. If you come when they are almost done, like 12:30pm, you'll only have maple bars & salted caramel donuts to choose from; however, you can buy a box full of these donuts for $10 at that time.
