  • Chain coffee shops are non-avoidable. I don't mind hitting them up once in a while. Second Cup was a favorite of mine when I younger. After working at their direct rival for almost five years, I never drank Second Cup because I had a discount elsewhere. But nowadays, I'm indifferent and tend to drink drip or tea more often than not. I do have a soft spot for the vanilla bean latte or plain Icepresso. I discovered at Christmas that I LOVE their eggnog latte. ALSO It's super great that they don't charge for lactose-free, especially since i have a bit of a sensitivity. This location specifically is obviously on the older side, definite lack of power outlets is a dead giveaway. But Second Cup as a whole is a bit outdated from decor to retail to lack of specialty drinks. Coffee's coffee. This isn't the most ideal location to loiter and get work done on the laptop but alas, its good for a quick caffeine fix because a film or play. Not really much for seating but just grab a seat then order.
