Mission: Drinks with a panoramic view of Toronto (somewhere that is NOT Panorama).
Attire: Five inch pumps and a little black dress
Destination: The Hyatt Rooftop patio
I entered the elevator and pushed the button for the 18th floor.
The doors opened and I made my way to the dimly lit lounge.
The rooftop patio is small and it is first come first served - no reservations.
We were here for scotch and cigars.
You can bring your own cigars here as well.
When it came to the scotch part of the evening, the waitstaff definitely require more training.
I was mortified when they asked if I wanted my single malt "on the rocks".
Why don't you just ask me if I want it shaken not stirred?
The waiter saw my face and said... "Neat it is!".
I asked for more water.
The poured water into my 30 dollar drink.
I put my hand over the cup but some water snuck in.
They should have discounted my bill, they didn't.
Anyways, it's a great venue, just watch your scotch and have your hand ready.
