Cute interior. I guess the theme is of the restaurant is old west they have dark wood interiors with mounted animal heads. Getting in to this place is quite difficult they have really big doors which required quite some muscle to open this they have a host that has to push and pull the door for you. Imagine being on a date and wearing heels and putting so much effort into opening the door. The thing me and my sister noticed was all the servers and bartenders are guys which is a first in all the restaurants I've been in Toronto I don't know why that is the case. The service was very friendly tho and everyone went out of their way to ask if everything was going okay. There was a lot of people working that day I guess and it wasn't busy so we were definitely spoiled. The food was really good I highly enjoyed my scotch egg that was coated in duck meat. I opted for the mushroom Wellington as my main and it was quite nice but the gravy could be improved upon. For dessert I got the apple crumble and it was definitely had that familiar home made taste I look for in my pie. And the server was also nice enough to give us free shots to end our meal. So definitely a great experience overall.
