So I have been using this pharmacy for years with no problems until now.
I fill prescriptions for myself and my children here and I fill the same two prescriptions every month from the same doctor for over two years now.
I have a heart condition and with that comes anxiety. I get a written prescription for both meds and one is a 30 day supply of one and per the doctors direction to take it the other one is a 25 day supply.
Well a newer pharmacist last night decided that he was not going to release one of my prescriptions until Friday, when yesterday was 25 days. Not only did he withhold medication that is needed by my body and heart, he was EXTREMELY condescending and straight up rude! I have never been treated so horribly by my pharmacy! I'm always friendly, never complain and I have been loyal to this store. I do not take narcotics and to be treated as a drug addict for picking up a legitimate prescription for a legitimate issue written by my legitimate doctor is appalling. I plan to speak to the store manager and up if I have to. I get that the DEA is cracking down on people but the only ones suffering or paying for it is law abiding people with real needs for our medication. Speechless. I said to him, you know I am going to run out and in those two days what if I have a life threatening problem because you won't give me my medication he said, don't know check with the hospital! I'm not pouring more pills down your throat! Lol he's a pharmacist!! That's actually his job! So I feel like my doctor who went to school way longer and spends wayyyy more time with me knows what's best for me, not some newish pharmacist with a chip on his shoulder and a bad attitude. I'm done with this store as soon as I get this last prescription being held hostage and am disgusted by this situation to the fullest!
