| - I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS ROOM.
Our team of 7 did the "Child's Dream" room, and I can definitively say this was the worst escape room I have ever done. For context, I have done ~10 escape room in the US and Canada. My greatest regret is that we did not leave in the first 10 minutes and request a full refund, as it was a complete waste of money.
Several components in the room were not set up correctly - two doors that we needed to unlock were left open. Several electronic components did not operate correctly - despite imputing the correct sequences/combinations. On two occasions, we had to ask for assistance from the manager to replicate a physical action required - which, despite that we had done the same action several times correctly, did not work. If this was their attempt to incorporate Gen 2 technology, they should stick to Gen 1 mechanisms, considering how many components were broken or not working consistently.
The room should be 4 people max, given the size of the space and number of problems to solve. The overall quality of the space - the paint, the finishes, the completeness of details, was mediocre at best. The $20 per person charge was, in my opinion, overcharging by $10 for the quality of the experience.
