| - The team of employees seem nice. I did use the restroom as soon as I walked in and before I even made it back to the register an employee stopped me in my tracks and asked "I didn't catch your order, are you going to order or simply use the bathroom" in a rude manor. This made me uncomfortable, like I had done something wrong. However, this should not to reflect the quality of the food, sometimes you just have an off day and I hope gentleman was simply having a bad day.
Sacks has a variety of sandwich's, I'm a simple gal, I ordered turkey on sourdough with lettuce and tomato. Coming from northern California, I am an avid lover of all bread, sourdough being the oblivious choice, it was delicious. The turkey was sliced thick, moist and present in the sandwich. Something you can no longer find at chain sandwich shops. The produce was fresh and juicy, there were enough tomato's to add the perfect amount of acidity. Every meal comes with a cookie, that's a cute touch, and they are just like your grandmother's. YUM.
The shop was set up nicely, and clean enough. My biggest complaint is the amount of fly's inside the establishment. Yet, this issue seems to be common in Arizona, can someone invest in some damn fly killee??! Nothing ruins a meal more than a fly landing on the perfect bite that you've been saving for last.
