On August 10, 2012, I visited Pep Boys to get a coolant evaluation. I had scheduled a 10 am appointment the day before. Boy, I should have just forgot booking an appointment with them in the first place! By the time 1 pm rolled around, I was wondering what was taking so long(as I had just wanted a thermostat installed). I told the cashier(Mike) to nix the whole radiator installation after he informed me that the mechanic won't be able to get to it due to his whole weekend off. I even had to call for the manager(Raul) to ask the status of my thermostat install and he assured me that it would get done in about 1 hr and that he would get me a good deal for a radiator install as well. Hmmmm, my butt. $530+ for a radiator install + $140+ for a radiator hose does not a good deal make. Needless to say, I was pissed. I had been waiting at the location from 9:48 am- 3:02 pm. I had no food in my belly since I arrived for service at this location and I had to listen to one of the cashiers(Mike) whine about his lunch break(and I'm a pregnant diabetic). When it came to check out time, a heavy set male named Darrell rung me up. He started making small talk and asked if my unborn child's father is still around. I was too shocked at this unprofessionalism. I will never come here again.
