This place is hyped .The hype is deserved.I went for lunch on a weekday at 1:30 and it was jammed.Reservations are clearly a good idea.Wound up seated at the bar , which I like.I had Oysters and Steak Tartare, I guess qualifying me for the raw food movement.Co eater had celeri romulade and salmon. We had Chablis with it and had dessert coffee and in my case Calvados. Can't do this too often but now and again , it's great.Interestingly the people who work here- who work hard -seem really nice. The young woman who prepares the coffee is a charmer. The bartender also works really hard and also seems pretty nice.Another woman who I think is probably the day manager, when lunch was over and she had breathing space , was interesting to talk to. This restaurant exemplifies restaurant professionalism at it's best .
