| - We purchased furniture from Living Space's Scottsdale store on two separate occasions. The first was for a coffee table several months ago. Sales help was friendly yet unobtrusive. The only issue we had was at the front desk, where it took forever for them to accept our cash purchase of under $200. (Seems like no one must do business with cash anymore). They showed us a contract with all sorts of conditions if we were to make a return, including that we must wait 2 weeks to get our cash back if we were to make a return because they claim the store does not carry cash. Fortunately, we had no issues. We ordered, picked up the coffee table and assembled it ourselves- like Ikea.
Due to the bad reviews I had been reading since our earlier purchase, I had been very skiddish to do another transaction. Since our experience had been positive, however, we moved forward with Living Spaces and bought a really nice queen sleigh bed. This time, we used a credit card instead of cash and the whole process took less than 10 minutes. The bed arrived from the Phoenix warehouse the next day. We picked it up, assembled it, and everything was perfect. At $195, comparable local furniture stores were similar sleigh beds for $300-$500, and their reviews weren't so hot either. We are pleased with our two purchases and will do business with Living Spaces again in the future. Four stars is for the stall at the desk for cash purchases, but the overall experiences for both pieces of furniture was great.
