Let me tell you about my experience at Sands Chevy. I showed up today to look at a Silverado and a Colorado. I know that I want a truck but I'm unsure what kind I want and I'm still really early in my vehicle buying adventure so I wasn't planning on buying that day, but I wanted to look.
I pull into the lot and there are 5 sales people just standing in a group at the very front of the building. I get out and within seconds I'm being helped. The guy who helped me started out really nice. I told him from the beginning that I'm unsure what I want so I'm probably not going to but today. He said that was fine and showed me over to the trucks.
We walked around for about 10 minutes and all the trucks were locked so I could only look at the inside and through the windows. Now I don't know about you, but I can't say that I like a vehicle without sitting inside of it and test driving it. I found a truck that looked nice and I brought up that I would love to test drive. The sales person at that point told me that he needed to know if I was serious about wanting to buy. I brought up that I didn't think that I was going to buy that day. The sales person then stated that it's Saturday and it's the busiest day of the week, so if I'm not serious about buying this truck today then he won't get the keys and I can't test drive.
Now like I said at the beginning, there were 5 sales people just standing at the front and maybe 3 people shopping on the lot. Excuse me for not being able to say that I would buy this truck without being able to test drive it.
So I left the dealership with an unpleasant taste for Chevy. If anyone is reading this from Sands Chevy, you can thank Joseph for this terrible review and swaying this person away from Chevy.
