Stop and smell the coffee beans.
Thank you Desert Coffee Roasters for being open on Labor Day. My caffeination prayers were answered in the form of Walter White. Shots of espresso and creamy half and half. Served "for here" in a mug and beautifully decorated with latte art.
The space is tucked away off Sahara, so you won't see it from the road. The windows are darkened, so I was elated to find the bright exterior as it welcomed me. There are eclectic tables and chairs, and coffee bags throughout the space. I plan on getting very cozy here with my laptop for a few hours during the work weeks.
The menu is robust, offering a variety of beans and beverages. There are small bites available and they appear to be a collection of both external treats for sale and pastries made in house. I'm thrilled by the passion and hospitality of the staff. It's clear that they are a lot of repeat customers. I hope to make myself one of them!!
