  • Wow! I haven't had an experience like this at any restaurant, EVER! Ordered a pOrtobello mushroom sandwich that has goat cheese on it so I requested cheddar cheese instead. I was told by the server that the chef would not substitute the cheese but he would give the piece of cold cheddar cheese on the side if I wish. I was in shock. The aggressive manager came over and said that they don't have microwaves or any way to put the cheddar on the portobello and that was why they can't do it. I asked how they put the goat cheese that normally comes on it, on the sandwich? She said that they used the griddle. I said can you please use cheddar on the griddle rather goat cheese. She said she couldn't do it! We obviously left. I was floored about this experience. I then remembered going to the one across town when they first opened and tried to order the same thing, the same way and was denied on the basis that they can't because their menu is made the way it is. Omg Avoid this place like a plague I look for good customer service not dictatorship run restaurants
