| - Can I give a minus 10? First of all, I bought my Fiat there. Took back a few times for oil changes because I got three free with the sale. Then, I started going to Jiffy Lube. Their technicians are another whole story; I guess they don't work on Fiats much. The first time, they left off the air filter cover and I had to return to get it. The second time, they didn't screw the plug on all the way and all the oil had leaked out in a few weeks. So, I stuck going to the dealership.
First of all, Fred, the service manager for Fiats in a total chauvinist pig. The first time I went back (the time the oil leaked out because of Jiffy Lube's ineptitude), he told me I needed to get my oil changed regularly. Really? Thanks, Fred. How did I manage to make it to the ripe old age I am, being so freaking stupid. Last time, he told me that he has a Fiat too and he thinks that the key to Fiat longevity is to change the oil regularly, use premium gas and get it washed every two weeks. First of all, dad - I'm not a dumb 16 year old with her first car. I'm a 62 year old that has been driving for almost 50 years.
But, here's the topper. Unlike Jiffy Lube, they do not top off your liquids. And, if my battery hadn't died two days later, I wouldn't have know I was low on coolant. And, it's going to be 120 here in Phoenix this week.
I guess they sell more cars that way.
