| - I went here a few times due to a change in my Dental Insurance; what a huge mistake.
My initial concerns were it was very difficult to get an appointment in a reasonable time frame....we are talking several, several weeks out. Additionally, appointments for cleanings and exams are separate which is very inconvenient. Lastly, they will not schedule a family all together, so you have to go on different dates, not practical for a busy family. Oh, and they more often than not, weren't running on time once you did get there.
My most significant concerns however, involve the actual experience of the exam and any resulting work that needs to be done. My children were the first with cavities and when the oldest told me he could feel the entire procedure and wasn't sufficiently 'numb', I thought maybe he was being overly dramatic. However, then my youngest had a cavity and Dr. Pham gave him 3 shots and still didn't get them right. Had I not switched back to my original dentist, Dr. Lagers, I doubt I could get my youngest back in a dental office. And yes, I too had one cavity filled there, and although my experience wasn't as awful as my sons', either I wasn't sufficiently 'numbed' or he just has a very heavy hand.
On a positive note, the women who have done my cleanings have always been pleasant, as has the front office.
