This Car wash facility can cause damage to your vehicle.
I believe Clean Machine Car Wash uses excessive amounts of force at their facility that lead to damage of my vehicle. Save yourself the headache and go to a hand wash only car wash. I am not affiliated or endorse any car wash company and am just reporting my own awful experience in service.
On March 19th I took my vehicle into clean machine and paid for the "super charged wash" after wiping my car down I noticed half of my Toyota Land Cruiser emblem was missing. the excessive force of the wash brushes and water had cracked the emblem in half and torn it off my car. I drove back to the Clean Machine and filled out a report with the assistance manger who assured me Barnet Jacobs the General Manager would get back to me within days. A week and half later I followed up by calling the GM since I hadn't heard anything from him. Barnet Jacobs hastily told me he was too busy to talk to me about my situation and said he would call back later that afternoon. After not hearing back from Barnet I again reached out to him today, he again gave me the run around and told me he would review my incident report.
Hours later I received an email from Barnet saying they thought the piece was already broken and they assumed no responsibility for damage.
I'm 33 years old, have a great job and have invested a lot of time and effort into the maintenance of my vehicle, trying to "get over" on a local business for an 80 dollar emblem isn't how I like to spend my time.
At the end of the day, I will never spend another dollar toward "clean machine car wash" and would recommend to anyone considering them that my situation isn't unique, damage is reported is numerous reviews.
Barnet Jacobs handling of the situation was unprofessional and he refuses to take responsibility for the damage that occurred due to his machines. I would avoid this business.
A 12 dollar car wash ended up costing my near $100, but at least I know where not to take my vehicle.
