The good news is they diagnosed my car quickly and accurately. The bad news is they won't accept parts from any source but their own. I get why they do this--too much finger pointing if the parts supplied don't work. But the problem was their parts cost was more than what the dealer charged. Maybe this would make sense if they're buying from the dealer. But the dealer's labor was also less. I ended up paying the diagnostic fee and getting the car fixed for literally less than half of their quote, saving over $600. The parts I found were less than 1/7th of their parts quote. Maybe they aren't the best parts, but they're new, and my car's up and running. I didn't want to pour money into it. It still's nice, but it's got 103k miles, so this shop wasn't for me personally.
