| - Rarely am I so impressed with a service that I feel like I want to evangelize on their behalf. Seven Brothers has inspired me to do just that.
Prior to hiring them when they were top listed on Uhaul's website, I have always felt that movers were a necessary evil. Two crusty guys would show up 10 minutes late, and shuffle their way through your move, break your stuff, and then smoke a cigarette and leave. I felt all movers were the same, so when I saw the top listing I just said whatever, clicked through the process, and expected more of the same.
Then, Tristan showed called me up. He was super polite, gave me everything I needed, and made sure that I got exactly the time that I wanted, no questions. I had everything set up for my move within about an hour of making the reservation on the website. This is pretty unheard of for movers. There are almost always scheduling conflicts, 1-2 day delays before contact, etc. I thought it was pretty great that their secretary was so good. It turns out he wasn't the secretary, but one of the owners. It really shows.
I had never seen someone run down a flight of stairs with a queen sized mattress on their back. I had also never seen one guy lift a 300 pound table by himself. I saw both of those things and way more when Seven Brothers moved me. I was so impressed with their work that I gave them a 50% tip. (Shout out to Superman and Morpheus.) I've probably never seen anyone hustle that hard at ANY manual labor job in my entire life. It was really a breath of fresh air. Nothing got broken, and the guys seemed to care more for my stuff than I did. Despite my telling them multiple times "Don't worry about that too much, its not important" I was reassured that my things were important and they'd make sure to take proper care of my stuff.
There are little things that you never think about, but that make all the difference. When I had trouble with the lock on my storage unit, Tristan offered to help and got it figured out, as well as showing me how it worked. When I arrived at our destination, they complimented me on my driving. I'm sure I didn't drive better than anyone else, but it was nice to be complimented, and that seems to be the kind of that happens, often, with Seven Brothers.
Both of my movers were really friendly, and good with my dog and my family. I was planning to move to a temporary location, and as soon as I did I would have to move again to my final destination about a month later. I made sure to set everything up with Seven Brothers again, and had the same great experience with one of my previous movers, and a guy named Brandon who I later found out was on his first day. The service was crazy good, again.
This might be the longest review I'll write on yelp, I usually get to the point, but I was so incredibly impressed with the people who work at this company that I really hope that this will persuade someone looking for movers in Vegas. If it does, I'd love for you to tell them that you read a nice Yelp review. Honestly, there is no other moving service that even comes close.
