| - On March 3rd, my 81 y.o. mother suffered a very lite Thalmic Stroke and I took her to the ER at this hospital. After completing the paperwork, we were inside within minutes of our arrival. Everyone from Allyson (ER Admin) and Rhonda (attending ER RN) to Mac (ER RN) and Dr D. and a few others were AWESOME. They were very professional and caring at the same time; they all get 5 Stars.
However, my 4 Star rating is because once she was checked into the hospital for observation and treatment, things slipped some. While the nurses (4 each over 2.5 days; RNs Raza, Sabrina, Brianna and Chelsea) and assistants (Robert; sorry but I forget the other names) were outstanding and the doctors were great, she was put into a room with a non-English speaking patient whose relatives (2 to 5 at a time) where there, and while "nice", they yakked loudly non-stop until 10:00PM without consideration for others. Also, when the Neurologist came in on Friday morning, he said that after a MRI and Echo (Ultrasound of the Heart), she should be able to go home that day. Well, the Echo wasn't done until Saturday morning (only 1 tech for the entire hospital and the staff did not know this on Friday) and we finally got out of there at 3:00P.M.
And, the food is pretty good, too. :O
