| - Originally from Cleveland where this furniture store originates, gives this new to the Valley chain a soft spot in my heart. Arhaus opened two location in Phoenix, Biltmore, and a much larger store out Scottsdale Road. Their selection rivals competitors like Restoration Hardware but at a slightly more friendly price point. The furniture isn't as masculine either. I would also say it is a slight step up from Pottery Barn and offers more unique, one-of-a-kind pieces at times. I have bought multiple items from their stores over a 10 year period: copper dining table, two buffets, a leather swivel chair, outside dining table, wicker chairs, and a dining room hutch. The only problem has been a metal plated coffee table made in India where the plating has started to seriously peel. Moreover, a few of the sales people at the Biltmore location are overly aggressive at times, following you throughout the store or trying to win you as a customer. When I shop for furniture, I sometimes like to browse and be left alone to think and reflect. Otherwise, the delivery wait times can be too long at times. I cancelled one order for two lamps after a 6 week wait and learning that the delivery time could not be determined. The salespeople at the Scottsdale Road location are not as in your face and that store has a larger selection. I have heard they added a west coast warehouse, so that may help improve the delivery lag situation. Overall, it is my go-to furniture store with the hopes that they expand their inventory and turn-around times. Lastly, Arhaus doesn't seem to have all the records of my purchases saved for some reason, so imagine early on their computer system wasn't as sophisticated. It would be nice if they could tell I have been a longtime, loyal customer....
