So we just ate at the The Liberty in Ballantyne and we decided to come to this one due to convenience but SHOCKER they are the same restaurant with 2 totally different menus. WTH!?
The breakfast potatoes I had at The Liberty in Ballantyne where are arguably the best breakfast potatoes I've ever had in Charlotte. Everywhere else just seems to be a hit-or-miss even if the food is great. When I asked the waitress to say we're the same she couldn't tell me. I took a gamble but since the entire menu was different it was safe to assume that the potatoes are different also. I was right. Not only were they not good but they were not even close to the ones that the other location. Nonetheless that was just a side and the main course is actually pretty good.
They offer an omelet of the day and a lobster omelette for $11 was just too good to pass on even though I was torn between this and the Liberty breakfast which comes with both bacon and sausage, eggs potatoes and a biscuit only $12. It's unheard up to get to me for such a low price. Guess I'll get that next time because it does look delicious. This time it was an easy choice because they were out of biscuits and there is no way I'm going to take toast over a biscuit.
Though the food is just average they have a couple other entrees that looks really good and I will come back and try them. Pretty average restaurant overall but worth it for the price.
