| - Hands down the best Chinese hotpot place in MTL. They have a selection of base for the broth that you choose from. You are allowed to pick 2 flavours: I chose spicy and tomato. Spicy was good, as usual. It's hard to screw up a broth consisting of only red chili peppers. Although I noticed that this one was spicier because they gave pepper flakes rather than whole peppers, so I'd get a few flakes in every bite xD
The tomato base was strong and tasty. If you like tomato, definitely try this one. Three of my friends said it was the best.
Unlike other places, you don't have to order anything from the waiters and wait for them to bring you the plates of meat. You go straight to the fridge/freezer to pick your own plates of meat, along with other ingredients such as veggies, tofu, eggs, noodles, etc.
On top of that, the slices of lamb look and taste fresh (even though it's frozen - I believe they are freshly frozen). I also note that the meat isn't as fatty as the meat in similar places. Good quality stuff.
I want to point out that I like their array of fish balls/cakes, noodles, etc. The selection of veggies isn't as impressive as Little Sheep however.
Overall good quality, decor, and service, but it is on the expensive side: I paid 35-40$ on a Thursday night. I will come back, but only for lunch - my wallet isn't made out of gold.
