| - Came for a quick lunch - boyfriend was sick and insisted we get something steamy to help his sinuses. Fukumimi Ramen was our choice, and our choice was a great one!
The restaurant is small (but not cramped, per se) making for an intimate atmosphere. It was surprisingly busy for a Monday afternoon, but we were seated at the last open table almost immediately. I can imagine there's quite a wait during dinnertime on the weekend!
To be honest, I'm a ramen newbie. There's still some flavors involved that I just can't get used to, so I took my usual route: Tonkatsu ramen with a miso broth. Fukumimi has by far the best I've had yet. The only critique is maybe adding a lil more meat to the bowl? Other than that, it was delicious!
Along with a bowl of some spicy ramen, my boyfriend got a bowl of rice, pork, and egg that he shared with me - the dish has a name, but I cannot recall what it was exactly... Anyway, that dish was probably my favorite part of the meal! Super flavorful and the small size was a decent amount of food, for only $4.
