  • Oh man I really HATE this office. I echo other reviewers' complaints re: their incompetent billing department. I take allergy shots weekly and every week there's a new surprise charge on my bill or I'm being back billed for something that they failed to follow up on. This week, in November, I was charged for a service provided back in July right before I met my deductible, so I was charged the pre-deductible amount. The billing manager blamed my insurance for just now sending the bill and when I asked why they waited until October to reconcile it, she had no answer. When I expressed my dissatisfaction and said I'm not sure I could keep seeing them for services, she said "That's fine." Excuse me? You are in the business of medicine and your response to someone who's looking to discontinue a medical service is "that's fine?" Get over yourself. They demand payment up front for services which is understandable, but it's completely unreasonable to hit someone with a bill in excess of $200 and not even offer to put them on a payment plan. Not only did I have to ask, but I have to REMIND THEM EVERY MONTH TO CHARGE ME. Why?! Do they honestly not have a recurring bill payment system and are just working off of an excel spreadsheet and/or outlook calendar to run charges?! Last time they missed my payment, I asked about it (it had been more than a week) and the receptionist told me that "the system was down." WHAT? Why are you just now figuring this out when I asked you? Oh and God forbid you ever switch insurances while being seen here because they will make you fill out ALL of your paperwork all over again. What was really annoying is that when you sign in for shots, the sign in sheet asks if you've moved and/or changed insurances. I circled "yes" on both questions for weeks and no one every followed up with me. Finally I had to bring it to their attention and the receptionist handed me a packet of paperwork to fill out. I told her I just had an address change and that she could scan my new insurance card. Nope. Every. Single. Page. Had. To. Be. Completed. Profoundly inefficient. Did I mention I HATE THIS PLACE. The allergy shot techs continue to be this place's only redeeming quality. I hate to switch doctors, but their incompetence is just too much.
