What an absolutely wonderful and charming restaurant. My partner and I went to Les Deux Gamins on the last night of our vacation to Montreal, which we picked over L'Express. So happy about that decision!
The restaurant was cozy and quiet, with exceptional service and tasty food. We had a bottle of Champagne to celebrate the end of our trip, and it was fantastic (and very well priced). Our courses were perfectly spaced, so that we never felt rushed or looking for our food. We had the French Onion soup (so delicious! I'm still thinking about it today), beef tartare, foie gras torchon and the Hanger steak. Everything was delicious. Our server was very kind and made us feel right at home, even though we are from out-of-town.
