| - Coming here at night, the parking was pretty full for this new community. Walking into the store, I thought it was designed very nicely with a clean white and aqua blue colour. The line was very short, so we didn't have to wait very long. When we arrived, it was around 9:45pm/10pm, so there were still plenty of seats, but staying half an hour longer, all the seats were already taken. Be careful when you pay, cause they have a tip option with no button on the screen saying "no tip" when you put in your credit card. An option would be pressing 0, but it didn't cross my mind. Also I didn't know if they were serving us by bringing the food over, or if they were just handing it to us, so I gave tips, but it turns out that it was like food court style where you would bring the dessert to the table.
Looking up at the menu, I noticed that there was a hot and a cold dessert, so we decided to give both a try. Got the Tofu Pudding with Q Ball (cold) and a Red bean Soup with Lychee (hot). Trying the red bean soup with lychee, it was lacking a little in sweetness and the lychee seemed like it was falling apart. I felt like I have tasted better in other places that don't specialize in hot food. The cold tofu pudding with Q ball was much better. It was smooth, sweet and the Q balls were rice flour with different flavours such as taro, sweet potato and green tea. Each of these selections were about $8 each for a bowl - I suppose it's on the pricey side in comparison to other places.
