Respectfully, not all of the sales associates are the same, maybe your's followed you but they are rarely like that. They are people and customers too so they try not to be that way. One thing, the person sitting at the computer in the corner is the "greeter" their entire purpose is head count. Each person that walks towards that door goes on their name so their close ratio depends on how many customers they have for the day. This can be detrimental to their job. Ashley also wants to let you know right in the door that they are not a store but a showroom. This means that they do not sell off the floor but must order your product. The warehouse in Arizona is small, and it is shared with, currently, 6 other showrooms. This is done to keep the overhead cost down to give the customer a better price. They want to let you know all this so you can make up your mind right then and there if you want to shop there. They want you to know who you are spending hundreds or thousands of dollars with. No the furniture is not high end but they don't claim that it is you get an excellent value for what you pay. I own mostly Ashley furniture and love it 100 percent. There is no fine print with Ashley you just have to listen to what they tell you. Ashley does not make nearly 100,000 a week or more for each location for no reason. THE BEST!!!! p.s They price match!!!
