Giley's has some great drink specials and is conveniently located right by Treasure Island. The food, while served in generous portion sizes, is a bit overpriced and isn't really worth the cost.
We started with 5 for $25 beer buckets with our choice of bud, bud light, miller, or a Four Peaks IPA. This is a good deal for the strip! We later took advantage of their $5-6 draft specials and loved them.
For dinner, I went with the two meat platter. I selected the brisket and the St. Louis-style ribs. It also included 2 sides so I went with Mac N Cheese and Broccolini. The brisket was tender but severely lacking flavor and the ribs were flavorful but incredibly tough. The vinegar-based sauce was tasty and not too sweet, which I appreciate. The Mac N Cheese was a bit bland and soggy but the broccolini was actually my favorite part of the meal! It was firm and crisp with great garlic butter flavor.
Overall, the drinks and service were awesome and a great price but the food is totally skippable, particularly with so many stellar options on the strip. 3.5 stars.
